Remote Grant Writer Volunteer

Your excellent writing and communication skills will help us articulate our vision and mission to potential funders, foundations, and donors.

AGDI is seeking a volunteer who wants to make a difference by using their writing and research skills for the good cause of helping our marginalized communities get education and training to obtain a better quality of life.

Volunteer Grant Writer duties and responsibilities:

Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
Draft grant proposals based on the funding requirements of the organization
Submit proposals to the Executive Director for approval.
Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.

Skills:

Excellent research and communication skills.
Excellent writing skills
Creative and innovative approaches to winning grants.

We are looking for someone who can commit to 10 hours a week. This can be a long-term opportunity.

The right candidate is a college student looking to build a career in grant writing, a retired experienced grant writer looking to spend his/her spare time volunteering.
