Water Projects Gambia and Tanzania Boreholes and Wells

While surface and groundwater resources across the country of Tanzania provide enough drinking water to meet the needs of all Tanzanians, inadequate infrastructure and poor sanitation facilities have led to a significant lack of access to clean water across the country. AGDI works with West African Partners to address the water and sanitation needs of their programs and neighborhoods.

With significant support from our partners AGDI has assisted Anawim, Ginga, Gulu, Kotu, and Serekunda digging boreholes since 2010. To date, more than one hundred dozen boreholes and wells have been dug, providing clean water and sanitation to hundreds of thousands of marginalized families.

Maintenance
Social support is only good if it lasts AGDI works with all our projects to ensure yearly maintenance for the existing boreholes, even while determining new steps forward
